I've always liked to bake and decorate things. Whenever there was an event which gave me an excuse to bake, I was ALWAYS the one who was going all out and bringing a yummy treat! Just recently, I posted some pictures of some birthday cakes I had made for some friends; as more pictures went up, the more people who joked around with me saying that I should seriously consider starting up a business. I would say, "Well... i wish. That would my DREAM!" until someone finally responded to me with, "Well if thats your dream, why don't you go make it happen?" Sooo here we go!
What started out as a simple hobby has quickly become an obsession! Since then I've been teaching myself & trying to learn every bit of cake decorating information I can get my hands on. Though I have been paid for some cakes that I’ve done, right now it's still early for me, so a lot of my cakes are what I'll call 'learning experiences' hah. A big shoutout thanks to my family & friends who are so supportive of me and take their jobs as official cake testers so seriously!
One of my favorite things to do is watch cake competition shows and check out other cakes to get ideas. I love trying to figure out how they were made and browsing other cake sites for inspiration.
